Varieties

Mohawk - A deciduous tree that produces large, full nuts of high quality. This variety matures early. Is a vigorous grower and has a thin shell. -Protogynous-

 

Kiowa - This tree is a Mahan-Odom cross. The nuts are large and oblong in shape and needs 45-50 nuts to make a pound. Bears an early and heavy crop of excellent quality nuts. -Protogynous-
 

Oconee - A large nut offering 56% kernel size. Adequate disease resistance. -Protandrous-

 

Pawnee - A large nut offering 55-62% kernel size. Earliest maturing variety we offer. -Protandrous-

 


Choctaw - This is a Mahan-Success cross. It is a nut that is high in oil content. Offers about 60% kernel size and has a thin hull. It is large and attractive. -Protogynous-

 

Desirable - A vigorous growing and disease resistant tree. Has good sized and soft-shelled nuts that offer about 55% kernel size. -Protandrous-
